This post is useless without pictures, but ah well.
I finished Belle, finally, with the exception of the hairbow. I bought some ribbon that’s fairly close and I’m hoping to just make a bow and glue it to a barrette, instead of having to tie it on everytime like I’ve done in the past.
Romana is almost done, too. I’ve decided to go without the blazer for now since it’s already going to be hot.
I’ve got to finish the hat – I bought ribbon to make the hatband yesterday. I’ve got my socks, my shoes and my tie. I’ve had the WORST time finding a white button down shirt! I don’t understand it. I ordered one online and judging by the sizing it should have fit fine (comments even said it ran large), but it came and was too small. I’m going to try to take it back to the store this week and see if I can’t find one in-store a size larger. I guess because it’s summer none of the stores are carrying a lot of the long sleeve button-ups right now, especially with school close to ending. If I have to I can use the one I use for Hermione, but it’s a bit more lax looking than I wanted.
Anyway – I’m going to go ahead and take a pic tonight of Romana, with the wrong shirt, just to have a progress pic.
